FG&A Strategy / Methodology

We speak user language

From requirements to implementation FG&A speaks user language. FG&A uses a simple and rigorous language for both defining what the application shall do and actually coding it.

The resulting code is crystal-clear. Just looking at it and everybody (including users) can immediately see how the system works. The language is fully problem-oriented: no physical field, database names or any other technical concern.

This way maintenance effort is greatly reduced as well client dependency on FG&A staff. Flexible, user-managed application mean user satisfaction and reduced maintenance intervention.

Techniques tools and standards

FG&A methodology is based on Agile Modeling principles and partially automated by a set of pragmatic tools developed at FG&A. Certain tools (D-RAD for example) are also offered to FG&A clients.

FG&A employs OMG MOF-based standards, including UML, CWM and MDA. This enables precise and synthetic communication between FG&A and its clients.
